What is the Canadian Dental Care Program?

Do you Qualify?

  • Individuals must not have dental insurance and have an annual adjusted family net income below $90,000.
  • Canadian tax residency and filing taxes in the previous year are prerequisites.

Cost Coverage & Adjusted Family Net Income

  • The CDCP reimburses a percentage of eligible expenses, with co-payment based on adjusted family net income.
  • Coverage ranges from 100% for incomes under $70,000 to 40% for incomes between $80,000 and $89,999.

What Services are Covered?

Covered services include preventive, diagnostic, restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery services.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates will need to apply on the Government of Canada’s website. As for when you can apply, applications for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) will open in phases.
